was going back and forth on what to do about "flu shots"...my mother always told me to trust my intuition and that is what I am doing. we will nto get flu shots this year...we will take ever necessary precautions to stay healthy...i know we can do it. I am attaching a letter from a mother with a daughter who had autisim...it is lengthy, but worth reading...along with the replies...

Happy Birthday!
my little man is turning 5 tomorrow. it is bitter sweet as I look at him, i love the child he is becoming, but am missing the baby he once was. He is such a boy with character and sincerity. He definitely is my sensitive child, and I love that about him. He has accomplished so much in the last year. Racing bmx, changing schools and making new friends. becoming more and more independent with each passing day. He is amazing and I love him so much.
new friend
Tanner Noelle made a new friend today at the pumpkin farm. She insisted to bring "her" home. I don't think having a goat as a pet would be all that bad...at least I wouldn't have to rely on my husband to mow the grass.

Watch out boys!
The next Rowley to race BMX...watch out boys, I am going to kick your butts.
Keegan, actually listening for the first time to what his dad has to say.
He loves watching the bigger boys race, as they go much faster and jump their bikes much higher

future olympian

The first indoor race of the season, the kid couldnt' wait to get on the dirt and ride the track. For two hires, he rode his legs off, even getting air at some point over the jumps. No incidents to report. He placed 2nd in his age group of 5 and under. Yes, he wants to be an olympian like the riders on the Beijing poster.
