under the weather

the weather is absolutley beautiful...the ice is amazing!

Everything glissens in the sun and looks like diamonds.

Unfortunately some people are a little under the weather
and could care less. Tanner had a 103 fever and felt miserable
the weekend before Christmas...but she is feeling better.

Christmas Morning!

Christmas Morning is over, but the spirit is still alive. The kids had a wonderful morning opening gifts. The adults had fun, watching Keegan and Tanner open their gifts. Keegan went crazy, and Tanner would open one gift and play with it for a while. It took till lunch for her to get all her gifts open.

Keegan got a slot car track that he can't stop playing with. Tanner got a couple of baby dolls and some clothes. she is fasinated with the clothes and has had 4 outfits on today. She has been feeding and loving her baby dolls.

I took pictures and will upload a few tonight.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as we all did.

LOVE YOU!

Big Girl Bed!

She did it, she slept in her big girl bed all night long. My baby is growing up. I put her to bed last night, anticipating her to climb down and either get in bed with her brother or sneak down the stairs. She did neither. When I went up to check on the two of them, Keegan was sound asleep in his room (without is blankie) and Tanner was laying right were I left her, talking on her toy phone. She giggled and laughed at me, and said "hello"; as if she was talking to me on the phone.

She did not make a peep once, all night long. It has been weeks since I have gotten uninterrupted sleep. Felt good this morning. We'll see how she does tonight. I figure she will not want to get back in her crib at all, after last night.

Keegan looked so old sleeping last night, because he did not have his blankie. He has had his blanie since he was born and sleep with it everytime. Not last night, it must have been in the washing machine. I remarked to Frank how old he looks without it. I asked Keegan if he would give it to his sister, so we could throw out the stupic pacifier "binky". Keegan's response; "NO WAY".

Yesterday, Keegan called Frank at work to ask him how far Boston was. Frank told him it was pretty far, but was curious as to why he was asking him. (we never talk about Boston) Keegan responses by saying that Dora The Explorer is there this weekend. I just laughed when I heard that one.
