Memorial Day Weekend comes to an end

...but our fallen soldiers will never be forgotten. A big thanks to all who have fought for our freedom and are still fighting. Frank and I took the kids to a Memorial day parade (service). We both feel it is very important that they understand what thousands of men and women are doing for us on a day to day basis. We had to explain this to Keegan in 4 year old terms..."like Jesus dying on the cross for us", he understood after that.

The parade was eventful. We counted 5 individuals band members either faint to the ground or on the verge of fainting. And one boy scout, puke during prayer while holding the american flag. The sad part is that those "in shape" teenagers could not stand out there for longer than 10 minutes until they needed water, sit down, lay down. (granted the weather was a mere 65 degrees). what kind of physical activities are our teenager involved in? why can't they stand for longer than 10 minutes? it boths me to know end.

okay, if you haven't figured it out yet, I am not the best speller in the world and probably have no business blogging. Deal with it, or don't read my blog.
